Second Prize: A Dynamic Computer Model for Fibre Optic Link
Evaluation, by M. S. Rashid, S. Osuntokun, S. Patel,
E. Bozoghlan, R. Bishundeo D. McIntosh and X. Fernando.
Third Prize: A Wideband CMOS Optical Receiver by
Mohamad El-Hage, X. Fernando and F. Yuan.
All these three projects evolved from the fourth year Optical
Communications course ELE885.
Opto-Canada Competition Winners
Ryerson students won all three prizes at the undergraduate level
student poster competition at Opto-Canada,
the SPIE regional conference held on May 9-10, Ottawa, Canada. SPIE is the world's leading society for
optical engineering.
